Obstacle detection
Detection relies on very different sensors: a mechanical bumper, ultrasound, a camera, LiDAR, or a mix. What matters is not the sensor count but what actually gets avoided, because a garden hose, a flat toy and a pet are not seen the same way. The number of recognised objects a maker advertises says nothing about behaviour in your garden; independent testing does.
