Mapping
Mapping decides everything that follows: zones, paths, no-go areas, mowing order. It can be automatic, driven from the app, or walked around the boundary with the mower, and the result depends on the sensor producing it. On a fragmented garden the auto-generated map almost always needs correcting by hand.
