  Praised

  • 20cm-wide cutting deck with five blades, and no physical boundary wire needed to set up zones
  • When it cuts, it does so neatly and efficiently, with a fairly uniform cut height aside from the bumps it struggled with
  • Doesn't struggle to find its way back to the docking station, docking itself first-time most of the time

  • Automatic mapping failed on the reviewer's own garden, which they expected to be an easy case: the resulting map was completely inaccurate, with entire chunks of lawn missing, requiring a manual redo with joystick controls the reviewer found overly sensitive
  • Not that great at detecting objects in practice, despite being designed to detect over 1,000 obstacle types; the reviewer notes it does a much better job at detecting humans at least
  • Rammed into the 1ft fences protecting the flowerbeds on multiple occasions without going any further, thankfully; the tester had mapped the mowing zone away from those fences
  • The 20cm-wide deck doesn't extend to the edges of the mower, so edges likely still need finishing with a strimmer
