Brand Promise
Four AI cameras covering 300°, more than 1,000 object types claimed, and mowing that carries on when the satellite signal degrades.
What testers found
Four tests describe the same split. heise, on the Genie 3000: people, dogs and cats recognised without fail, but around 50% detection on tennis balls. Notebookcheck, on the Genie 1000: most obstacles recognised, hedgehog dummy and garden hose included, and the tennis ball detected one time out of three. Labo Maison, on a Genie800 built on the same chassis: most obstacles detected, golf ball missed. PC-WELT confirms on the Genie 600 that mowing carries on when GPS drops, thanks to the cameras.
Watchout / Limitation
The 1,000 claimed types do not carry over to round, low objects. All three tests that put a ball on the lawn watched it get missed: pick up balls and small toys before mowing.

What testers found
PC-WELT sited the station in a quarter of an hour on the Genie 600, indicator green after three minutes, and the automatic map worked first time on a lawn edged with kerbstones. Notebookcheck rates that mapping among the best it has tested, on the Genie 1000, but reports the same machine leaving its boundary by several centimetres more than once, up to stalling in a raised bed. heise could not get the Genie 3000 through the narrow passage between two lawns, which no RTK mower it had tested had managed either.
Watchout / Limitation
Unplug the RTK antenna and the app throws an error: the map has to be built again, heise checked. Neither heise nor Notebookcheck found any RTK signal quality readout in the app. Notebookcheck clears 70 cm gaps but sees the mower back away from 80 cm ones at times.

Watchout / Limitation
No edge automation, as heise points out: the finish stays manual. With a 20 cm cut and 10 to 12 cm left along boundaries, plan on several sessions a week and a strimmerSide trimmerString cutting head mounted on the side, mowing past the deck and up to the boundary.. And treat the runtime NeozOne reports with caution, 240 minutes against 200 in the manual: the same test gives 10.2 kg where the manual says 13 kg, which undermines its readings.

What the tests say
The Genie 600 is the entry model, and the only one of the three without 4G or an anti-theft alarm. It still gets the chassis, the 20 cm cut and the four 300° AI cameras of the Genie 1000 and 3000: what shrinks is the battery, 2.5 Ah at 18 V, rated in the manual for 60 minutes of mowing and 90 minutes of charging. Across 900 m2 that means several cycles spread over the week rather than one pass. TechRadar, which tested the range, describes a reliable mower that is easy to operate and confirms the 900 m2 coverage. Official EU price: 999 €.
