This model's technologies, against the evidence

What the brand promises, what independent tests actually found, and the limit to plan around.

Mammotion UltraSense AI Vision

Brand Promise

An AI cameraAI VisionAI camera system for object avoidance and navigation support. tells grass from everything else and recognises more than 200 objects, to steer around them without touching them.

What testers found

Three tests describe the same split. heise watched dogs and playing children get a wide berth, on the YUKA mini and on the LUBA mini AWDAWD (all-wheel drive)Every wheel drives (usually four, occasionally three depending on the model), which helps on slopes, soft ground and wet grass. alike, but small objects going unrecognised, with the advice to clear the lawn before starting. On the LUBA 2 AWD, Notebookcheck first had contact with obstacles, then none at all after raising the sensitivity in the settings.

Watchout / Limitation

Sensitivity is adjustable, and it costs something. heise notes that on the sensitive setting the mower stays safely on the grass near a stone edge but leaves more grass standing, so more strimmerSide trimmerString cutting head mounted on the side, mowing past the deck and up to the boundary. work afterwards.

Mammotion Sweeper Kit

Brand Promise

A powered sweeping roller with its own battery collects clippings, leaves and small debris and empties them at the spots you choose.

What testers found

heise gathered around 40 litres of loose green waste from close to 600 m2 in a day, mowing in a checkerboard pattern. The separate battery does not eat into mowing range, and dump points spread out so the grass does not wear in one place. The module is clearly louder than mowing alone, and it snags on thorns and branches, which can tear the mesh.

Watchout / Limitation

With the sweeper fitted, the rated slope drops from 45% to 18%. Add roughly 700 €: it is an accessory, not an included function.

What the tests say

YUKA 2000 is the YUKA model worth keeping prominent in comparisons: 2,000 m2 coverage, 20 zones, RTK plus 3D vision, a 32 cm dual-disc deck and optional self-emptying sweeper kit. It differs from LUBA by focusing on mowing plus light debris collection and lawn patterns. Before buying, check real availability, slope handling reduced to 18% with the sweeper and rear-wheel drive being less suited to difficult terrain than AWD.
